Dr May Massoud
Dr. May Massoud holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Management from Imperial College London. Presently, she serves as a Professor at the Department of Environmental Health and directs the Interfaculty Graduate Environmental Sciences Program at the American University of Beirut. Her research is centered along two major themes within the field of environmental management with a focus on (1) waste and resource management and (2) environmental management practices and systems across diverse sectors. Her projects aim to leverage research and innovation to improve waste management practices and disrupt conventional thinking by demonstrating the feasibility and efficacy of a circular economy framework.
